Board Members of Concerned Citizens of South Central Los Angeles
CCSCLA takes pride in having an experienced Bord of Directors who can voluntarily lend professional expertise to the projects which are generated by the Executive Director and staff. The Board is actively involved in the strategic planning and goal setting for the organization. Each board member is kept abreast of the operations of the organization and the progress of all projects via monthly project update reports. All board members possess a keen awareness of the needs of the community and clearly represent the dedication, knowledge and commitment necessary to bring about change and justice. Each board member participates in at least one advisory committee for a project to advise on matters such as finance management, the development process and environmental and community issues. The Executive Board holds a monthly meeting to review each development project, organizational program and the overall budget while the Board of Directors meets formally once every quarter.
